To all Jews: “GET OUT”
***disclaimer, this photo is in extremely bad taste, however, it is one of the funniest photos I’ve seen in a long time and while it has absolutely nothing to do with this story aside from the fact that the post is about Jews I felt the need to share. My apologies to anyone who is offended.***After a recent shooting that took the lives of three Jewish children and a Rabbi (no, this isn’t a punchline) the leader of the the National Union Party, Ya’akov Katz, called for Jews to leave Europe.
Is it just me, or are people across the globe getting more and more anti-Semitic?
(PS, I am sorry for not “waxing eloquent” about the subject, the article say’s it all.)

You are a Psycho and have no idea what Judaism is all about.
***satire***
Jewish people are prolific.. and that causes a lot of jealousy. Almost all my favorite economists are Jewish.
@georgeme89 - What do you know about Jews? Are you a Jew? Have you ever even met a Jew? I’ll bet your one of those Christians that blames Jews for the death of Christ.
eh. the word SEMITE does not = JEWS.
I would say the world is taking their success, middle eastern problems a little too seriously.
Yes, I believe the Jews should defend themselves. They are a sovereign country. THey have their own military.
Historically, the Arabs, Jews, that whole area… they are the same blood, same people.
Let’s not forget where Abraham, the father of Jews came from.. Ur… Iraq.
Actually, I didn’t find the photo offensive at all. There is some degee of truth in it.
Anti-Semitism has existed in Europe for ages. But we can’t lose sight of the fact that there have been plenty of good people who’ve gone out on a limb to defend Jews also.
@BenelliMan - Yes, but the word anti-Semitism was originally coined to mean only Jews.
That is quite sad
Getting more and more anti-Semitic? Well looking back there was some major event involving the Jews, not sure if that Hitler dude was their biggest fan but he might have set the bar no?
@Kevin_is_a_pirate - true statement.
God damnit I just wrote a comment and xanga butt slapped me by deleting it.
Yes, this is very true. Anyone who isn’t aware is ignorant. Synogogues are often unmarked and shielded with bullet-proof walls throughout France. Blatant discrimination against Jews is evident even in the school systems.
A large part of the growing anti-semitism is correlated with an increased prominence of radical Islamists in high political positions as well as at lower levels, prominent minorities who often receive special treatment by politically sensitive governments. The radicals spread like weeds. England’s parliament is more Muslim than Christian.
You should look up writings by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She is a brilliant figure regarding this issue.
The awesome part about all of this is Israel is not exactly the most stable country, but at least it exists as a safe haven for the Jews.
“Goyim kill Goyim, then they come to hang the Jews.” The Jews have always been hated, it just varies in intensity according to the cultural shift at any time.
I think there’s been steady anti-Jewish sentiment around the Globe and throughout history. Really sad.
@NoOneLikesDivas - If
you are unaware of the extreme success of Jews then you must be living
under a rock. Don’t you hear all the anti-semites bitch about the Jews “controlling” Hollywood, Wall Street, etc.? It’s because there is large
prominence of them in lucrative, successful fields (relative to their tiny
numbers). There is a slight increase in the average IQ of Ashkenazi Jews compared to everyone else, so that probably explains why (of course many people think that involvement in the occult, conspiracies, etc. is a more likely explanation, which totally speaks for themselves). Likely a result of the natural selection of constant ghettos (pre-Holocaust) Jews were forced to survive in and being forced to work in fields relating to economics and trade because they were banned from physical labor-type jobs in Europe, preceding the rise of the Nazis. I have also heard a theory that Jewish rabbis had big families and were always required to be very intelligent, but I don’t know if that would have had such a large effect on the overall race.
@BenelliMan - ”The word SEMITE does not = Jews” maybe not technically, but who cares? We all know what it implies. Whether or not they’re brothers, the radical islamists’ imperialistic hatred will not be contained until they (and I quote them) “drive the Jews into the sea.” i.e. destroy Israel as the Jewish state. Oddly, if Israel never existed I wonder if it would have manifested into anything more than the arduous desert it was.
@Kevin_is_a_pirate - Hitler didn’t set the bar then, and he didn’t now. Think about it: how could such hatred gain such prominence so
quickly? Growing anti-semitic sentiment was present long before him,
much of it beginning with Europe’s enlightenment.
He hated the Jews because of their success and he found their prominence to be incompatible with the agrarian society he envisioned for the so-called Aryan people (which the “pure” Germans were not, of course), especially because post-enlightenment the Jews were seeking to assimilate into the common culture, which he saw as a threat. Of course there’s a catch-22 in the last point because Jews were often resented for segregating themselves. har har
Some 5,000 years ago, the people historically known as Jews left what is now northeast Arabia and headed for the Tigris- Euphrates Valley (Iraq). The quarrel between Arabs and Jews began as a tribal blood feud, according to the historian Werner Keller,(see “The Bible As History”).
The resentment which Europeans and white Latin Americans show towards Jews is based more on economic jealousy. Mercantile Jews, like Mercantile Chinese and Indians, are good at managing money and have a strong work ethic. Those, like Hitler, who had a victim mindset and thrived on entitlements, found the mercantilists to be a ready-made target for their demagoguery. Not much has changed. The slackers in the Middle East and Latin America, like Khamenei and Chavez, want what Israelis have worked hard for, without putting in their own effort. Europeans who have an entitlement mindset are also easily drawn into the anti-Semitic fray.
Look around at people who are making their own success. How many really self-made people are anti-Semitic?
@DrummingMediocrity - Guess you didn’t get my point, this article says 4 people died and then someone asked the Jews to leave and that’s getting more and more anti semitic? My point being Hitler set the bar alot higher for anti-antisemitism.
Getting more anti-Semitic? Hm. I don’t know. Seems like there’s been a lot of anti-Jew sentiment for a long, long time.
I do think that A) people are getting more extreme in every belief, and B) we are getting more and better news coverage and therefore hear about these things now, whereas in the past, things could have happened without anyone in a different country knowing.
It’s very sad about the people who died.
Also, in my experience, Europeans are pretty racist in general. I have no idea why so many Americans want to emulate those snotty bastards.
*disclaimer* If you’re a European, and you’re not a snotty bastard, or racist, I wasn’t talking about you.
There’s just more hatred around the world, in general.
antisemitism is not alien to Europe, it has happened a lot of times trough history. This time actually has a lot to do with the fact that the Israel state is killing lots of palestinians and refuse to respect international laws about this topic. Anyways this is not the 12 century or WWII and Israel is now a strong nuclear potence, so they’re not helpless and will have to face World’s hate with violence, which btw is neither alient to them.
@DrummingMediocrity - Very interesting..and very sad. Thank you for this informative comment.
Yet, are Muslims being welcomed with open arms?
Why does hate even exist? This is not kool :-/
@NoOneLikesDivas - No, I’m not Jewish. I can honestly say, however, that most of my favorite people in the world are Jewish. Dr. Walter Block of Loyola University, for example (Whom I hosted at my Alma Mater last year, also hosted him at IU Bloomington and Purdue University with the help of my YAL friends). Murray Rothbard, another prolific economist, is also Jewish. Ludwig von Mises (deceased, along with Rothbard) is Jewish.
In any case, I don’t have to know Jewish people to respect them though I do know them. What I really don’t understand is why you’re commenting the way you are, like a first class dimwit, on this post. Clearly this post is in defense of Jewish people as are my comments. Also, I’m an Atheist. So go fuck yourself.
Its all about getting circumcized, man. Thats why Jews get hit on all the time. If it wasn’t for the Jews, us dudes would have normal penises
@catstemplar2 - Muslims and many others circumcise their sons as well (and sometimes their daughters, which is usually more analogous to castration). Most Americans do regardless of religion, though the trend is declining.
@Kevin_is_a_pirate - A bar meaning he heightened it? That’s wrong. Anti semitism was stigmatized for awhile afterwards because what he did brought on a lot of shame for the Germans (the standard westerner knows more about the Holocaust then any other part of Germany’s impressive history), but now people are starting to forget, so the “norm” of anti-semitism is reemerging. If you mean that the ‘bar’ in terms of what constitutes anti antisemitism was heightened (in that more prejudice towards jews is now tolerated), then I agree, though that’s more complicated and a bit abstract.
@RighteousBruin - This is a brilliant comment. Thank you for writing it. I think like you said, a similar resentment is building in the west for eastern asians.
@DrummingMediocrity - What you say is correct. But the Islamists’ purpose in life is not just to “drive the Jews into the sea,” but to bring the entire world under the dominion of Islam. Destroying Israel is only a step towards that goal.
@NightCometh - Some Muslims are responsible for the violence themselves.
@zionlover - I just see a lot of European countries harboring countless Islamic immigrants, then changing their laws to accommodate their religious habits and demands.
Jewish people have got to be one of the most persecuted groups of all time. No, not trying to make it a contest, for anyone who wants to point out many of the other groups that have suffered as well, but the Jewish people, in particular, sure have a long history of hostility towards them.
@WaitingToShrug - lol Nice disclaimer.
@NightCometh - Yeah, that is part of the problem. Unfortunately, many Muslims feel their rights take precedence over all others’.
@zionlover - Islam spread rapidly because of Muhammad’s imperialism and this continues to largely be the case. Only when Islam evolves out of the dark ages will more of its followers perhaps endorse civilization and human rights. Right now the majority of them are nonviolent, but nearly silent on condemning the violence that does come.
@DrummingMediocrity - 100% correct.
