  • Guys, stop encouraging Lesbianism!

Lesbians are out there, they exist. There are girls who live the lifestyle and are truly homosexual.

But it makes absolutely no sense for guys to encourage girls to be lesbians. Sure, it may be hot, but it’s taking two girls off the market if they decide to keep going with it.

Really though, stop making lesbianism “cool.”

*disclaimer, I am not trying to start a flame war, give any opinion on how people “become” homosexual or incinuate that they are not born that way or give any opinion regarding homosexuality whatsoever. This post was created as a joke designed to make fun of guys who encourage girls to make out and/or “love lesbians.” I am in no way saying Lesbians are either cool or un-cool, I have no opinion on that whatsoever. If you don’t get the joke, or you are offended by this post I do not apologize. get over it and read something else. (the previous statement was mostly a joke, but mainly what I actually wanted to say but conveyed with a tactless choice of words.)

  • I’ve been customizing iPhones.

When I am not Ranting and Raving about Windows 8 (horrible OS btw) I have been spending some time customizing iPhones.

And I love it. I’ve never been more interested in working on something than I am right now. (aside from showing videos of the chinese invading)

    Isn’t it beautiful?

Why would you be jealous of someone who had an iPhone that was as super custom as these?

    Just because.

  • Anarchy and libertarianism. Are they the same?

Question: Is it a contradiction to be both a libertarian and an anarchist?

Not if you look at the definition of libertarianism and anarchism.  Libertarianism’s main tenet is that no person has the right to initiate the use of violence against anyone else.  There are libertarians who don’t take this tenant to the extreme… they are minarchists, endorsers of democracy, or endorsers of republicanism (as in representative government, not the political party).

An anarchist, more specifically an anarcho-capitalist, is a consistent libertarian.  He does not make exceptions when it comes to government.  There is not “role” for the government when taking the “non-agression axiom” seriously.  Taxation itself, the lifeblood of government, requires the initiation of the use of violence to collect.  If you don’t believe me, try not paying your taxes and living your life as you would normally.  Ask Edwards and Elaine Brown how their attempt at autonomy turned out.

An anarchist is a person who believes that government shouldn’t exist.  Government is a monopoly of the use of coercion in a specified geographical area.  Government monopolies have the characteristic of increasing cost and decreasing output.  In exchange for higher and higher taxation, less and less valuable output is produced by the government.  This is an unsustainable model and decays over time.

The solution?  No government.  I know, I know, sounds extreme.  I guess it is.  But forced payments for an unwanted service (police ‘service,’ military ‘service,’) should be considered extreme.  Why aren’t they considered extreme?  Well, we just came out of a world with Kings, Lords, Feifdoms, and serfs.  The majority of us would be serfs (and would not have made it past infancy).  Relative to that, we have quite a bit of liberty.  We are willing to deal with the egregiousness of our current state of affairs because of the relatively greater egregiousness of the state of affairs that preceded it.  And we are proud to ignore the internal contradictions we hold, blithely, and with fervor.

So when public school teachers force your children to rise for the flag and pledge to a government rather than a God or a value, when you are shamed to clap for the military who just came back from doing the bidding of politicians who sent them to die for a cause no greater than the value they gain from exercising power, and when a recruiter entices your child to take up arms in the pursuit of that end, think back to what I am saying here and figure out if the whole of your existence, the life of your children, should be subject to the policy making and enforcement of vain bureaucratic dictators.

Government (as defined above) is an idea whose time should pass.  It is barbaric and a remnant from the even more dictatorial days of monarchy (that is not to say that it cannot, presently, take the form of despotic dictatorships or oligarchies, just that this ‘democratic revolution’ is the same old idea played to a more encompassing tune).

So there it is… I’m also anti-democracy.  The terror!

  • Screw it, I’m posting my thoughts on “Kony 2012

And my opinion, once again, will be unpopular. (feel free to call me names again, block me, whatever.)

I’m sick of hearing this crap spewing out of the mouths of smug hipsters who use an “non-profit” organization to line their pockets and travel around the world “spreading awareness.” These guys make about 90k/yr and their organization pays for ALL of their personal expenses (wich were over 1 million dollars last year alone)

And what kind of “awareness” are they spreading?

The same crap that got us into Viet Nam and Iraq. These guys are pushing interventionism so hard it’s embarrassing to watch. They are LITERALLY BEGGING FOR MONEY FROM PEOPLE WHO WILL LATER PROTEST THE WAR THEY STARTED!

(I can see it now, in 2 years they will be producing the “get our troops out of Uganda” video under a different non-profit name.)

Who are they asking to “help” in this noble cause? The U.S. government and its military.

And it’s sickening, literally revolting to watch this self-loathing “film maker” pander to the worlds largest exporter of murder. It’s revolting to witness people around me get hyped up about an organization who’s main objective is to get the United States involved in, yet another, war.

We don’t need more troops in another country. We do not need any more bloodshed. We cannot keep funding this stuff.

This is going to sound heartless, but I assure you, it isn’t (believe me at your own discretion) but let people in other countries take care of themselves. Seriously, we take care of ourselves, let them do it as well.

But 30 thousand kids were taken from their parents and forced into military slavery
-That just means there are 60 thousand pissed off parents out there that need to do what I’d do, fight till the death to get their kid back.

If you’d like to donate to charities, please donate to one that does not promote war.

  • How to write a review of a new Apple product.

Here is a super simple exercise in modern Apple post-keynote reporting. All you have to do is cut and paste this very simple template and fill in the blanks. The writing has already been done for you and all you have to do is come up with a scathing title and call yourself an expert! Good luck, now you can start your own tech-blog!

**Please note that this usually works better if you’ve never put your hands on the device you are critiquing/reviewing**

With the launch of the next generation of its new product, Apple Inc. has staked, once again, its claim to the throne atop the electronic genre kingdom — while at the same time opening a window for its rivals to finally catch up.

As Apple chief executive whoever it is right now wrapped up his major product unveiling event perhaps no one was as excited about what he had to say as Apple’s competitors.

Despite all the hype and media attention surrounding the launch of Apple’s  new apple product name,— which Apple is simply calling new apple product name, — investors and observers responded to the Cupertino, California company’s latest offering with a collective shrug.

    ____________________________

For Apple’s rivals, most notably rival company name and rival company name, the incremental improvements in the latest iPad may be just the opportunity they need to establish themselves as legitimate competitors to the world’s most valuable company.

As expected, the new apple product name features a better Part and faster part than its predecessor. It will also offer random previously un-used technology.

But will that be enough to cause Apple fans to line up outside the company’s retail stores on launch day next day of week?

    _____________________________

When the  apple product name, was unveiled last year, it was seen as an incremental upgrade over the original version of the device, adding a new feature and new feature. It now appears that Apple’s move from # to generation apple product name, is even less of a bold leap forward and more of a tepid shuffle from an underwhelming top dog.

    _____________________________

Still, the new apple product name will be a tremendous success by an ordinary company’s measure. It will help power ahead Apple’s sales and will move the company further into its paradise.

Apple’s lead in the tablet market is already shrinking. When the first apple product name went on sale in Month of Year, Apple re-ignited a dormant market and then completely dominated it. If you bought a apple product name in Year, chances are it was an apple product name.

    _____________________________

But thanks to the rise of rival company name software, and the myriad manufacturers now building for the platform — including rival company name and rival company name. — Apple’s lead is slipping. Even rival company name much maligned rival device name has seen some recent success after several discounts and promotions.

In some respects, Apple has become a victim of its own success. Over the past few years, the world has become accustomed to Apple offering up a near constant parade of innovative products, blowout earnings results and record sales figures.

The new Apple product is quite possibly the best product genre on the market today. We have just come to expect more of Apple.

Oh hey look, THIS GUY already did it!!!!!

  • Apple’s new products announced today:

You’ve probably noticed by now that I’m a little bit insane when it comes to Apple products. I can never get over how amazing it is to use something that “just works” and actually improves my life.

I also obsessively watch the Apple Keynote presentations. Today is no exception. If you were curious at all what new products are coming out, here’s the skinny.

The Apple TV, with 1080p support, airplay mirroring and a new on-screen design.

And more importantly, the new iPad:

With a retina display, quad-core processor, new camera and a TON of other upgrades this thing is going to kill.

I love how Apple shows off some of the more minor aspects of it’s technology.

pretty cool stuff, them iDevice cameras!

  • Got my MacBook back!

Apple repaired my MacBook Pro for free and their service is second to none. It was the single fastest shipping and repair job imaginable!

They replaced a TON of stuff:

-the logic board (graphics card, processor)
    -the Airport Card (WiFi)
-the battery (!!! I sent in the old battery just in case and it payed off!)
    -the keyboard
-The “top case” (area around the keyboard)
-the fan (they claimed it made an odd noise… and it’s super quiet now)
    -lastly they replace the bluetooth

There are only a few things they didn’t replace, the screen, hard drive and RAM. Essentially I sent in a broken computer and they sent me back a near-brand-new machine!!!!

All I can say is Apple is amazing. Oh, and ALWAYS purchase AppleCare with your i-stuff. It pays.

  • Peyton Manning leaves the Colts.

This is the guy who LITERALLY saved the Indianapolis colts single handedly.

With him they became the winningest team of the 2000′s, without him they couldn’t manage a winning season. (2-14)

He was out last year, but should the Colts dump him?????

  • Runtly’s first bath! (warning, this is a puppy post!)

I warned you, this post is about puppies!

    enjoy.
