Is it really necessary for them to focus on sexual orientation in comic books?

I think it’s time for all normals to move off planet.
I completely agree.
It is an outrage how characters like Superman and the Fantastic Four so flamboyantly strut their heterosexuality. There hardly is an issue without explicit reference to Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s heterosexual attraction or even the opposite-sex marriage of Mr. Fantastic to the Invisible Woman.
Superheroes should be asexual crime-fighting characters without mention of family or normal social relations.
Necessary how? Necessary to sell comic books, or to align more closely with the real world? I guess they don’t really *need* to, but they obviously feel like it’s a good move.
So much better to pretend entire populations of people don’t exist.
Its not only the Green Latern. I read somewhere that Batman had the hots for Robin.
Yeah, it’s disgusting how far these comic book publishers are going to push the gay agenda. Remember, there’s a reason for this: they want to change impressionable young minds. It’s not about sales or plot, but turning comic books into propaganda literature like the opposite of Chick Tracts.
